We at Good Seed have fallen for Forellenschuss Lettuce. It is an absolutely beautiful lettuce both in the garden and the salad bowl. This heirloom romaine lettuce from Austria is speckled and has a crisp texture. This watermelon is the one that we have been searching for to grow in our cool northern climate.  It is a fast growing short season variety and produces 8 to 10 lb. melons (8" to 9" round).   Tomato  Stupice 

This heirloom tomato is originally from Czechoslovakia. It is a 2"- 2 1/2" tomato, producing early in clusters on potato leaf vines that are indeterminate.   Eggplant  Diamond

  Fennel  Florence

  Maral Root  Leuzea Carthamoides

This herb from Siberia has many reported uses as an adaptogen and a tonic. It has been used by Russian athletes to improve conditioning. Bunny Tails Lagurus Ovatus

Quaking Grass Briza Maxima

Quaking grass is also known as rattlesnake grass and the two names tell a lot. The seedheads resemble rattlesnake rattles and they do quake in the wind. It is very ornamental growing 12" to 18" or more with a delicate and graceful form as it sways in the breeze.
